It's ok, but way, way too flat and wide. The thing is like a pancake. It's also way too easy to hit from the top or bottom (because of the pan-cake-iness).

Actually, I like it. If it had a little more wingspan, it would look like a nice atmospheric bomber.

The easy-to-hit-from-above just adds character. ;)

To probably explain it better, I should put up the description I've written for it, as part of the overall stuff I've made :P

Originally classified as a  small gunboat, this class of craft was known as the 'Banshee' or the 'Schreecher' before the Intelligence Divisions managed to crack into and steal information from the Enemy's networks. It's actual name and role were only then discovered, and the fact that it was actually the enemy's version of a strike bomber. The Redemption has long proven to be the greatest foe of most capital ships, and the greatest terror to any turret gunner.

Faster than the smaller Eris and Eris Mk. 2 fighters, it is also unbelievably more manueverable, despite the size. It's large engine matrix allows for extremely rapid acceleration and deceleration, and seems to be more suited for the smaller frigates and destroyer classes. It's survival relies on this speed and manueverability, using it along with the enemy's FTL sensor and computer network to dodge incoming fire with ease despite the incredible size and large profile. It also uses the standard quantum and cascade defense systems present on most other ships, allowing it to essentially divert fire away from it or make it cause minimal damage. It is somewhat limited, but proves effective in making most of our anti-fighter weaponry nearly useless.

Few people have actually scored a direct hit or taken down a Redemption class, and even then it was after the fighter was trapped in an inescapable web of it.

However, one of it's main weaknesses is the notable lack of any strong shielding system as well as almost paper-thin armor. A few direct hits on the hull is all that is needed to take down the craft, while the shields can be dealt with using area-effect weaponry.

To offset this, however, is it's significant array of offensive weaponry. It wields two anti-fighter Vulcan cannons, as well as a pair of anti-capital ship mortars. It's secondary missile capacity are almost wholly made up of bombs capable of taking on heavy cruisers or carriers with ease. This, combined with it's speed, make the Redemption a high-level threat to most of our capital ships. It is capable of jumping in and launching most of it's payload almost immediately. A single bomb can cause significant damage to a Heavy Cruiser, while the entire payload of 24 bombs could easily destroyer several cruisers.

Fortunately, these bombers are mostly located on the enemy's dedicated large (although a few are present on the Triest Siege Carriers) carriers, and even then only in few numbers. Their size and capacity supposedly limits their usage and numbers, giving us some relief at least. With the new flak and anti-fighter missile technology coming out soon, they should soon become less of a threat.

However, they are still not to be underestimated. Often, a Redemption Bomber is accompanied by at least two wings of Eris or Idun class fighters to clear the way ahead for it. Pilots are to take priority and kill the Redemption bomber first before taking care of the other fighters, reducing the overall threat to our capital ships.

Looks vaguely like a longsword fighter a-la Halo.  Cockpit's different, but the profile and size appears to be very similar.

It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here

Longsword was wider I believe...more like the "Flying wing" bomber...

I like it... but I like the carrier better though :)

Effing great. If you'd make a campaign with all o dems in it, I'd play it. Anyway, I don't like the opaque blue cockpit. Too.. bleh.

the redemption looks suspiciously like an F-22...

I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

Sleek and nasty looking, yet nice and big.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.
