Anyone know how many points it takes to get to the various levels of promotion in Freespace 2?

If you check the .vp's all of the voice actors with ranks (Samsa, Loukakis, etc. etc.) have recorded that speech.

The thing that differs is their pronounciation of the "Go read a book" part, which is devastatingly humorous the way some of them did it.

here's an easy way to get to admiral: FRED a mission where 2 ships are 5000000, (any higher and they turn to negative), make the mission a campaign, destroy 'em, jump out, and now you have to read a book.
