Looks better than HL2. Minus steam. I do, however, ponder at the system requirements.

It might have something to do with the way a straight line casts a jagged shadow.  But no algorithm is perfect.

Meh, I don't care about shadows as long as the game's as good as the original.  And it sounds like it should be, because they're trying to remove the one bugbear most had with it (the level of scripting).
