I've never played Starcraft, so I'm probably missing . And I would be interested in it. But, what MicroPsycho described sounds like Warcraft II online. No strategy at all, just map full of units and that's it... So SC is better than that? I did like WC2 single player, though.

Logically the way to counter that would be to form/find a bottleneck, or whore defense buildings. Or you could sneak behind their rush to crush them.

99% of maps have some sort of cliff or bottleneck into a base... all your early buildings should be around that bottleneck... you don't have to build defense buildings... just one or two supply depots and a barracks to block the entrance, and one or two marines behind your wall, and you're set.

I used to play a lot before the Koreans got a hold of it. Had something around 80 wins and 2 losses or some strange **** like that (considering my strategic skills are dumbass).

It was pure ownage.

Can't stand it today because of the really really ugly graphics (hey, it was 1998, my eyes got used to some of the shiny crap of today), but I wouldn't mind playing again if they re-released it with better graphics. Wouldn't even want content change to buy it.

they play everyday, have no lives, they are a bunch of followers and cannot afford decent pcs, well 2 of the 3 can, but one I have respect for, one i have little to no respect for and the 3rd, he is justa plain follower, so he does what they do because he can be very pathetic at times

I'm not saying that you people who like it are complete moronix smacktards, but when people talk about it like decades after is release, and still play it over 20 hours a week, it frankly pisses me off to a point where i can not deal with it

I have nothing against SC players, only the ones who play SC as their only game, for instance, these 3 friends
