Does anyone have a fast FS2 retail version download? I have cable, but the only downloads I see have a speed of around 5-15 kb/s.

Game Warden might have a line-wait soon.  I could heavily compress the various files that come with each cd and host it or email them... but I will have to see the size of the compressed things.  I will post a very cut-down size from 1.5 gb soon.

56 minutes to compress one cd in .sit high compression format, but only 14 minutes if I am zipping it...  I'l be waiting a few hours!  This will be great for people with dial-up!  I only need cobra to host the super-compression format!

That's the problem. I've checked and both the links I gave in the FAQ are gone again. I think I'm going to stop giving links to the torrents and just tell people to find them on some suitable torrent site.

I´d like to have the stu_fs2 only, as I try to english-fy my version of FS2. I started to download it from Fractus´ server but it takes ages to download it from there, as that place is either offline or full most of the time.

I beleive old PXO "Admiral Khafe", aeroproz on YIM, made that site. Or atleast he told me he did.

Unsure if he knows of HLP or not. But i think i know the guy who made it.

Edit: Yeah definitely not Darkwing. In that link the origional link was to devilpuppets.com\downloads .. and Khafe told me about his site (devilpuppets) when he was about to make that squad (wich died). Then 2nd link on the dw froums link, is to his new site, freespacezone.
