If you're whining about a lack of guns since you can't improvise your own weapons out of paperclips, bubblegum, and cellphone batteries, you don't deserve to be in the rebellion

Quite frankly, they'd have to draft at gunpoint. And if they did that, how could they claim to be any better than the people they are fighting, the mask would be off entirely.

They can, actually.  If you are gay, and in the military, it's a don't ask don't tell policy. They won't ask you, and you don't tell anyone, and you can stay and fight. Even if it's blatantly obvious.

However, as soon as you tell them, they still have a 0 tolerance policy, and will kick you out, probably with a dihonourable discharge...
