Publicity tool, hmm?
Put this in your profile if you know someone who is fighting, has survived, or has died from an awp no scope.

That's pretty good, though the choice of music seems a tad out of place with Freespace it does fit the pace well.  Huge file though, 33 megs.  What campaign is that from?
who needs a signature? ;)

that was pretty cool. ( i speak of when you showed this to me thru YIM)
To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow. - Metrodorus of Chios
I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

Good Video!

But I have two stupid questions:
1. Why 40 FPS? Aren't 25 FPS enough?

2. Why WMV?

Hehe....
I've just converted the WMV-File to XviD but used the wrong color-Format (yuv, I should've used RGB)...

Well... Red/Orange Warpholes are looking cool!
So are BLUE shivan ships! :)
And blue explosions, of course!

All in all, a good movie. HOWEVER...

In many scenes, the Framerate you had was criminally bad. Is their anything you can do to speed things up, without compromising the SFX?

Also, I noticed you used Vanilla Weapon effects. BAD. I'd advise using Lightspeeds Primary and Secondaries, as well as Firecrack's Beam effects.

One more thing: I don't think the music fit at all, but then again, thats personal preference on my part.

You can't really complain about the framerate when using FRAPs.  It's impossible to get decent rates when it's saving out an image file every frame.  Though it is possible to get better looking results if you use inverse time compression, by the looks of things that was taken before that was available.

You definitely have a ways to go to reach the awesomeness that is Rake's D3 video, but that was still pretty cool. :D I do agree that a change of music might be in order.

When I saw it, it reminded me of Need for speed underground 2.
I didnt mind the music actually.  I thought it was a good thing not to hear the whales in space for once.  Not that I dont like FS2's music, it's nice to see something different.

Looks like this was made with a joystick too.  I have a killer mouse+keyboard combo and still cant rotate as fluid as that.

The music was utterly cool, that's for sure.

What program did you use to edit the videos though? Especially with all the cutting and pasting in this case O_o

No you don't ;)
I just asked! :)
Windows Moviemaker is not that bad...
(I don't like it but it's really not that bad)
The only bad thing is, that you only can save in MS-Formats (typically for MS)...
