Is the load screen (using d3d/opengl interface) in some of the recent builds, or was that just a one time ideal thing? Thanx in advance!

You mean the title screen on startup? It's in all builds. So is the mission loading screen background feature.

Yeah, it is in all builds now, too, use the -ship_choice_3d command line.
