3D Glasses and surreal stuff
What do you guys think of 3D Glassses and surround sound headsets, etc? I've been looking at the crazy stuff at www.edimensional.com a they have force feedback chairs (lol) and loads of OTT stuff like that. :)

Should be cool for playing FS2 and HL2 with. :)

I've heard of 3d glasses that make you have a splitting headache after 15 minutes of usage.  That's why I've stayed away from them.

The only headset that's worthy of being "surround sound" would be Sony's virtual surround sound headphones.  The zalman "surround" (if you wanna call it that) headphones are utter crap.  They sound terrible.

I've honestly had a better gaming experience using a high quality set of sony headphones instead of some huge goofy headphones that sound.. um.. "goopy".

I like my 5.1 speakers you can never beat the sound of speakers but if I had to use headphones I too would go with the sony set.

I'm like Swantz, I'll cling to my 5.1 set with my Xbox - also Sony. I wonder if I could get that sucker hooked up to the PC, though...

So Zalman surround headsets are no go?  Does anyone have a link to the Sony headsets, Zalman are the only ones I can find.

I use both a 5.1 speaker set and a 5.1 headset. The headset is a Cosonic one, works fine, only problem is that if no sounds are playing you hear a low buzzing sound.
I mostly use the headset to play games when I use teamspeak, or when it's late and I don't want to wake the neighbourhood.
Sound quality is good and the surround sound works great. In Planetside (the game I use them the most for) it got much easier to get situational awarness than with my old headset.

I looked on ebay, and most of them are medusa headsets, are they good?
