I just downloaded the inferno campaign and used the
fs2_open_inf_r by Phreaks to make it run . the problem is the SCP does not seem to work fully the ships have good effects but the map and rest of them dont seem to have any of the new visual upgrades. I installed the SCP patch for inferno it created a new folder in the root directory INFR1.
  I then copied the INF_Main.vp and the INF_2Patch.vp to this directory. But when i try to run the inferno campaign it does not show
                 any suggestions

hmm I think this is an issue that is being looked into. We have problems with TBP in this regaurd as well as others.

One thread about one problem is quite enough, thank you very much.

Also, if you use the old VP's with a new exe, you have a chance not all the ships are properly mapped.
