Hey guys,
A friend of mine set up a forum for debates on politics, religion, etc. (as well as learning about different cultures) pretty recently and he's really trying to get some people to join. I'm one of the mods there, so I figured I'd come advertise over here since I know there's always people spoiling for a good debate. Anyway, give us a visit. Who knows, you might like it.

The only problem is that most people dont intentionally try and get into the debates....it just kind of happens.

It'll probably turn out to be that way. I'm just doing what my friend asked me to do, which is advertise on forums that I hang out at. I know that the debates here tend to go downhill rather quickly but that's life.

If you do want to write an angry letter, you may go ahead and do so. Immediately afterwards, delete it - and start over. Calm people are usually better understood than those in a fit of rage. (It goes without saying that death threats, cursing, and general disrespect are off limits). **If you tell a joke or want to be humorous, please let people know that by using the smile symbol or some other indicator. Your facial expression and tone of voice cannot be seen or heard on the board. **Please, do not send in any chain letters or requests for money. However, all is not lost for spam freaks. Usually people send links to what they want people to look at, including articles and stories you might have found on the web. ** Please do not send the same message more than once in order to convey your opinion and do not spam (open a new thread with the same subject and content that appears in other threads)!
