One thing I have wondered for a long time: Why do so many people in this country pronounce "nuclear" as "nuculear"?

That pronunciation is used by at least a third of the people in Congress. It's practically the official Washington pronunciation of "nuclear".

That's what it means in English too. At least for reptiles and birds it does. Never heard the term used for a cow before.
