Darn it, you're onto us. You see Plasma, Wildwolf, IceFire, and myself were all part of: Action Team America Timetraveling Squad.
We went back in time from 2032 to prevent the 2001 nuclear attack on San Diego. Unfortunately we were stuck in the late 90s and narrowly escaped from the clutches of the vile Denebian Warlord in exile, an0n. (often confused with Kofi Anon)
As an end result, to warn America of its impending terrorist stike which was like 9-11 times 1,000 (which is exactly 911,000) we had to start a FreeSpace fansite. Each team member had a specialty, Plasma's comedic mastery and the release of "Timmy's Field Trip to Volition" based off of this Penny Arcade still in your future, but our past led to the vile terrorist leader Sonny "Setekh the Scorpion" Bin Laden (not to be confused with Setekh) to give up his ways and play FreeSpace. (and playing "GulfWars" the new wargame ran by Kofi Anon at SuicideBomb)
Unfortunately his better known brother Osama read some of his notes and conducted his own terrorist attack. However, less lives were lost and the Action Team America Timetravelling Squad saved freedom that day!
