General Freak, land armies in the 20th century started to acquire greater speed due to the railroad and road networks. I doubt there is such a thing in TA.

10, 000 years? You must be talking about Total Annihilation. This is the 'spiritual sequel'. It's not really Total Annihilation 2. Would ALL of Earth's infrastructure get destroyed? The game's not even finished yet, so I think they will have some roads in the game, and maybe other forms of transportation (maybe maglev instead of rail) in the Earth landscapes, and maybe in the alien landscapes too (except the Mars one).

T^his is actualy TA's spiritual PREquel.

And these are not urban worlds, so masss transportation does not exist, and for those that may be urban, we can postulate that they are not designed to accomodate such vehicles (The k-bots in TA were at the smallest 7 meters in height.) that is of course, if they still exist after the havoc that can be guessed was wreaked prior, as SupCom is in a universe that is filled with war.

Another thing is that there are the aerial transports which may be used for the rapid movement of troops.

Probably. I loved EMG spam. A peewee rush supported with flash tanks.
Constant attrition until the unit cap is reached with the bomber fleet under construction in base. That or several nuke strikes at once. >D
