I'm getting really good performance with the drivers i have, it's just that Renegade will not go above 35 fps....ever...no matter the settings

If that's what it takes to fix the problem, then there are three possible porblems:

1.) There is something bad with the connection on the monitor end.

2.) There is something wrong with the connection on the video card end.

3.) There is something wrong with the cable.
