There is a small problem with the lensflares. They're rendered behind all other objects.

Most of the time it looks ok, but sometimes it looks really odd.

Is it possbile to put lensflares in front of everything else?

They've been in there for a really long time IIRC, just nobody's used them (or documented them really).

EDIT: Besides, as soon as you mention lensflare, somebody runs in screaming bloody murder because there is no camera to create the flare.

Who cares how realistic they are, lensflares kick ass. I'd definitely use them in an instant if someone documented how to enable them.

IMHO they do not look very Freespace-ish, so I suggest to use them for mods only.
