... in Canada. In Great Slave Lake to be precise, near the village Lutsel 'Ke to be extremely precise. My dad and I will be meeting a large group of people, some of whom we know and a lot we don't, at a lodge there and we'll be fishing for trout and pike for a week. We'll be flying up there early Friday morning. I was wondering if there are any other fisherman here to trade lies with. Oh and we already have a thread about animal rights so if you have a problem with fishing, take it somewhere else, thank you.

Just got back from fishing all this weekend, caught , but nothing very big.

use bright green, it works like a charm every time. you can get some absurdly large fish there, 40lb northerns aren't unheard of, keep your feet out of the water (not just to avoid haveing them bitten off by your prey, but there are some huge leaches up there, though they do make for good bait)

A friend of mine wasn´t having any luck either, so he  kind of "borroughed" a fish from another friend of mine´s bucket (he was catching big time). So, the guy borroughs the fish, hooks it up and throws it into the water, to make like he had caught it, right? I magine his surprise when he pulled the reel and the fish had been eaten by other bigger fishes.
We didn´t catch much fish, but we got a laugh so hard  out of it that my stomach was hurting. Never went fishing again since.
