A hunter, actually. Somewhat around a click, maybe click and a half in length. Specialized to go into nebulas and hunt down ships hiding in there. It's equipment works by making use of the surrounding nebula material in strange and totally contrived ways to bring down ships larger or smaller than itself with relative ease.

For the purpose I intend to give it, and for the technology it already posseses; it wont have any.

This ship doesnt need to wield a weapon....it is one in a sense....

you said before that it uses the surrounding nebular as part of the weapon system, does that mean that it is near usless in anyother terrain (well a nebular is a terrain of sorts just as open/deep space)?

As a matter of fact, yes.

Sometimes you need a sledgehammer to get things done....other times, when the problems run and try to hide away from your hammer, all you need is a shark that can hide even better......

while i know that you have a specific role all ready in mind for it.. it would look great in FSNA if it had some other weapons for non nebular combat. Heck it could all most take a leading role in our post capella period story/campagin as it is. Maybe you will consider doing a non nebular varient for us, please?

hehe you do know that FSNA isn't a mod for FS 2, but rather a mod for Homeworld 2? All we need is the ship's model and textures and we can get it in game.

I didn't know that.

Can't promise you textures, but at the least I can get a raw and unoptimised model for you I guess. DoGA CGA doesn't allow for significant mesh-tuning/refining due to the limitations of parts and such...hell, I don't think its even a true mesh as such.

Still, I'll export it out to .x format or something similar if i can, once I get home.

in a format that 3ds max or maya 3/5 can handle would be best, or .obj. But there isn't a rush as we are still importing stock FS ships.

None the less i will issue the offer to any modeler to produce ships either for the GTVA (or even just terran or vasudan) or for a completly different and new race (which are a cross between the borg and the beast from HW Cata), for inclustion into FSNA. We need a whole new fleet of ships.

Singh i'll quite happly look over your past models for other candidates for FSNA if you PM pics of them to me.
