The things people write about...
Saw the most 'tarded book today at Borders. It's called "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder" by Michael Savage.

Here're some quotes from the inside flap I got with my cell camera:

"The 911 attack on America by the Islamofascists... may usually be seen as the turning point as America breaks free of the chains of socialism."

"Iraq cannot become a melting pot as long as remains on its national religion-- especially when that religion is Islam which... has zero tolerance for noncomforming views."

The back of the book also quoted Savage saying "liberalism" is a mix of communism, fascism and naziism. That guy really does his research huh? :blah:

This is the amazon link to it... some of those reviewers are pretty disturbingly stupid too. (with reviewers saying things like "the guy is an actual scientist after all")

Science alone of all the subjects contains within itself the lesson of the danger of belief in the infallibility of the greatest teachers in the preceding generation . . .Learn from science that you must doubt the experts. As a matter of fact, I can also define science another way: Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts. - Richard Feynman

I think I havementioned the guy a few times, he realy is the nuke throwing mega conservitive.
I'm prety sure most of (the insain "liberals are nazis" type ****) what he sais is exaduration to get his point across... but not completely sure. I've listened to his show a bunch of times, he does make a good point every once in a while, but it's usualy just such an insain over the top conservitive grand maull sezure rollercoster ride that it's helarius. he had a TV show on MSNBC for a short while replaceing phill donahu in an atempt by that network to compete with Bill O'Riley.

Ahh, so now we've "advanced" as a society.

Instead of calling everyone else "racially inferior", we call them "mentally retarded". :doubt:

Kamikaze, soon you'll learn that there are too many idiots and *******s preaching their opinions like someone gives a ****, you can't get angry at them all. Savage is a lunatic, but it sells books, right? Whatever you may think is the lowest common denominator, someone is already five steps commoner and living off the earnings. It's like clowns; I mean a clown could potentially take himself very seriously, but basically he's there to entertain.

He's entertaining. The idiots who read and believe his books, less so.

Yeah, my first reaction to seeing the book was to laugh. It's funny in a horribly sad sort of way.

Doesn't he realise that books are only true when somebody else writes them? :p
