FS2 and even FS1 contain several pilot personnas which can be used for your Vasudan.
Hmmm... in fred they won't let me use a Vasuaden as a wingman though. He won't show up for some reason in the persona menu when I choose a wingman
Not worth the time, you're just starting a campaign, look with what FS already has.
Yah. I plan to do a good job. The movies will be mostly an extra thing if I do them. I have a couple of friends who can make them. This campaign has the FS feel too it but it centers around several characters rather than the player so it has lots of storyline.
General? That's a ground rank naming system, if he is in a GTVA warship and has any command role what-so-ever he would be Admiral O'Neil.
Hehe, I just based that rank off the Freespace 1 AI ranking system. Admiral would make more sense though, so I'll rename him Admiral O' Neil.
The next intersting thing is that I have been working on my first level. It won't really be challenging but it will mostly be an introduction to my level set. However I have some awsome tricks I used, that no one else has ever tried. Basically I made the FS 1 engine scream for mercy with some of my levels LOL

Also, I have a new weapon planned that will only be used on the Shivan stealth. It will basically be an energy cannon that fires energy torepedo's that recharge quickly. They home in and work slighly like a less powerfull emp missile.
However, how do I get another ship in the game to jump out? In the initial orders I told it to follow a waypoint with 89 priority and then warp out with a priority of 88. However I am hoping to do this more accuratly. Is there a way I can do this?
Also, how do I get objectives to show up in the little objectives menu you see in FS1 in different levels?
And how do I make certain characters hold a conversation during the game? Like when a kamakazi ship comes in, one of your wingman says: "Name of ship" has gone kamakazi! Also, I will want characters to talk to each other before a battle starts and while they are on their way into a fight.
