I just had my last two wisdom teeth removed today. They reffered me to a dentist who can do a general anesthetic, so they put me to sleep while they removed the lower two. There was little choice, those teeth were so deeply rooted that Novocain (however it is spelled) couldn't numb it.
But, I am glad that this drama is finally over.
[color=66ff00]I had one pulled under a gen. anesthetic. It was somewhat humourous actually as the dentist asked me to count backwards from 5 when he inserted the needle. All I remember was 5, 4, ...
I woke up in my uncle's car some time later none the worse for wear. Strange thing is that I had to get down a flight of stairs to the car. I have no recollection of that though.

Regarding Kosh and Ford's points in relation to Charasmatic's:
Taking the oath and actually keeping it are two different things. Dentistry is not the occupation of saints, I'm sure there are more than a few unscrupulous types in the business. I'm pretty sure Ford was being sarcastic though.
