Well I just saw something while I was surfing the net I saw FS1&2  in the same package on sale in an estore in Bucharest for just 15 euros I think or was it 13 cant remember right now. But I must say I am a bit surprised since I was searching for the bloody thing for quite a while now and noone had it! Soo

Probably a copy of the White Lable re-release resurfacing. It didn't have Silent Threat in the buindled did it?

I dont think so I didnt see the Silent threat included. But that doesn't realy matter what is important is the fact that you can still find this game in stores after all this time ! I was beginning to think that the game was allmost extinct from stores! Now to see it in one of the biggest game stores in Romania is at least in mi opinion a good thing! I cant wait to buy it beacause since I trashed my Fs2 copy I was forced to use a cracked version of it which I found on the net! And to be able to get FS1 in the same package is in mi opinion a great thing! I played Fs1 a long time ago also a cracked version full of bugs and stuff like that so...go Fs go..!

Silent Threat wasn't bundled with the white label re-release so it definately sounds like a copy of that.

My point is that this isn't a reprint of the game so much a bunch of copies from an old reprint resurfacing. I don't think we can take that as proof that FS2 is still available. More likely they found a crate with some copies in it during a stock check and put them on the shelf. Make sure you buy it quickly cause I doubt they'll have any more once those copies are gone.

I thought White Label went bust a while back, actually.  Read some conflicting things about it (like that the owning company was 'Avalon', despite having Virgin on the box).

Which is even more reason to suspect that this was from a crate that had simply been stuck in the back of a store's warehouse rather than being anything new.

Here in Germany, FS2 has been rereleased in May under the BackToGames label.

Well the 500 OEM copies we sent to Schoolpop.com in 2003(for US customers only) seems to be gone.. Now instead there is a link to overstock.com for only Fs1 with silent threat bundle for like $13.00 Not going to take the time to explore but this may be a world store and not just US only as Schoolpop was for US schools (teachers/students).
My workplace ran several titles for them over the last two years that I know of.
