So, in case of a terrorist attack, expect the troops to be out in force and for the military to "take charge". How comforting.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

'Since this is our first attempt, it will probably end up with something mushroomy.'

This is not a signature.
You did not see this.
It was all a dream.
You will not tell anyone about this.

Now go and read this signature again.

Anyone remember The Siege?

Damn, I bet they're afraid to show that one on the telly nowadays.  Hell of a prescient film, too, except that freedom wins over fear and oppression of a scapegoatable minority.  Which is completely unrealistic, as we know.......

:wtf: Is this a joke?

But I remember that film, pretty good too. Especially considering it has Bruce Willis in it.
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside
