There are creatures far more deadly for their size, but yes, of the large Predators the Tiger is pretty much King, despite the Lion's Rep.
Though, it should be mentioned that there is a shrimp the size of your little finger which can kick harder than a .33 bullet hitting you, a Tiger is a nice Tooth and Claw killer, but you want the most deadly hunters on the planet, then you need to think smaller
Oh and Ford, I can well believe it, I had a Red-Point Siamese who would chase foxes out of the back garden, often wounding them in the process, though my current cat doesn't seem bothered by foxes, come to think of it, he wouldn't be bothered by a moderate earthquake.
