GVF Heset Experiences Weapons Malfunction
I downloaded the GVF Heset mod and followed the installation instructions. I put the .pof in models, the maps in the maps folder, and added to the table file accordingly. I can place the ship in Fred and it flys just fine ingame, but the problem is that I cant eqip any primary or secondary weapons at the loadout screen, even the blue ones. I went into Fred to see what the problem was and I found out that all the GVF Heset's gun bank slots were greyed out for some reason! The only cause I could think of was that there was an error in the table file.

Off the top of my head, it could be a problem in the pof.  Have you opened the model in Modelview and double-checked the following:

  • Do the gun banks and missile banks exist in the model (not just the table)?
  • Are the gun banks and missile banks properly designated as such?
  • Do the weapon banks have firing points attached to them?
