Yeah but you don't usually see that cause the Sath is big and space is black same as the sath.

In a render it probably wouldn't be as noticable. Of course if you're offering to hi-poly it I'm not going to complain :D

Link no worky. Tells me I need to log in, seems to be to a secure section of the site; when I do log in, it gives me an error, specifically "An exception has occured while processing your request. Please alert site admin."

Being familar with how well the reporting system for TOS violations works there, I'm not going to bother with the admins...

(smacks head for not noticing the same username) So sorry, didn't realise it was you:dizzy: I was expecting people on HLP to post their reviews here.

Now reached chapter 20 BTW.  32 more written, several more to write.  Though those 32 might be condensed down a bit (I get the feeling that their a bit short)

For a laugh, I decided to get a comparison shot:


The original pencil sketch (really should get that reloaded.  That image is a terrible size)

The model, from the same angle with the same pose (or as near as I can make it)

Still need help with name.  (root word = Iguanodon.)

Okay, just a little update.

New name, thanks to my stories beta-reader: Iguanosaur

And a new main turret, when I realised that the old one would be simply impractical.





The change was main due to the fact that a) 195mm vulcans are just silly & b) they would only have had 224 rounds a peice!

I'll get some more images done later...

And BTW, where did the list of smiles go!

Niether.  It's a ZOID, of my own design to boot.

As an aside, I've recently done some pencil sketches of scenes+things that occur/appear in the story.  May post those as well...

At any rate, I think it looks pretty cool.

Oh, you've still got a long way to go to top that list around here.  Look around for a guy posting in orange text for a perfect example of what making a fool of yourself actually looks like :p

My question relating to this is where exactly do zoids hail from?  I know they've got some kind of background, but I can't honestly remember if it was a TV show, a videogame, or just a bunch of random assemble-yourself kits that they used to sell in toy stores.  Not to deminish the quality of this thread's topic at all, I just don't know where the idea originated from.

IIRC, they started out simply as a sety of snap-together toys in Japan.  Quite cool actually, since they don't require glue or paint.  Course you can repaint them if you wish...

Later on the Japanise created a trio of anime seris to go along with the models, which were later on translated across to the US.  There also have been the odd game, comics, plus one or two other bits that I can't remember...

So they stared as kits, but things kid of grew from there.  I think.

BTW, work on hostile is coming along... be afraid...

This isn't a close-combat thing, so I'm going to hazard a guess that it's either Leena or Stroller.
