Of all things my 17" flat panel just went... only 2 years old.. was working fine and then started to shake and act messed up. Is this a good deal? http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...ategory_id=4009
Its in my price range, i dont want another 17'' and i want the DVI output. Every other 19" in the stores were +400.
It's 8-bit and has a good contrast ratio so the image quality should be fairly good, but the 20ms response time is rather high. That L90D is cheaper and probably a better choice overall. You can try it out though, since Dell is one of the very few internet resellers with a no hassle return policy in the first three weeks.
yep.
16ms response time tho, which definitely works for me. the 5 year warranty is seks as well. some crts hasn't even lasted that long for me. and yeah, I realize the warranty is mostly vapourware, but still...
yeah, it's always to good to have that, as monitors are one of those things that you hold on to for a while.
My CRT only has a three year warranty (will last up to some time in 2008), which is the standard period these days, but it's been out of production for a while now so if it ever breaks I will just be getting a refund of the MSRP. Of course, I originally paid less than MSRP for it, so that's not bad.
