It's a huge waste of time. We can agree to disagree, I'm just telling you how I feel about it. Maybe others won't feel the same way, but then again, a good amount of others wanted red shockwaves to be cannon in FreeSpace, so maybe you're spot on.

Truth to be told; I see it as entirely opposite.

has dangled a loose string in front of us, in the term of Bosch and his alliance with the Shivans, while leaving another (albiet, well hidden) one in FS1 with the fate of the ancients. I have already used these two threads to open up the story, and the universe a bit. Continuing to do so carefully without unravelling the story will be tricky, to say the least, but I believe it is possible.
Either way, yes, we can agree to disagree, but at the least, i'd like to address your concerns, if nothing else - it wouldn't be right just to dismiss what may just be a valid and very vulnerable flaw in the system without some consideration at the least. If you could clarify a bit more though, it would be appreciated.
