I was fredding a small improvement to my weapons & effects test scenario and decided to change weapons in one of the ships turrets. To highlight which one i had chosen i pressed the K -key. And it highlighted (red box) a spot quite close to ship at right z-coord. but missing in both x and y. As i tested i concluded the following: The model could be rotated but the turret positions didn't follow the models rotation, they did however follow if the model was moved in fred. Turret positions (viewed with k) seemed to be attached to the models centre but not to the model itself.

Is this a known bug or should i just put it to Mantis? Search doesn't seem to work so i really don't know.

Is there a way to prevent the ships data boxes (Like: GTF Ulysses, TFight) from moving when i rotate the view? Further the model is from the center of the display the further from the model is the ships data box (and if the model is exactly at the center of the screen the box is on top of the model).
Do not meddle in the affairs of coders for they are soggy and hard to light

The first sounds like a legit bug.  The second issue is the still-present nonaligned geometry bug; that's been greatly improved lately but it's still there a little bit.  I believe the data box is in the right place and the model is out of place, actually, but the coders know about it.
who needs a signature? ;)
It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here
