This still doesn't cover my standard concept of t-shirt and jeans.

That's too bad. Fashion is a lot more inviting than political activism.

Sigh no matter what happens, women still only care about one thing: money.

So wait...

Having a brain, dressing nicely whenever possible, and generally respecting people is in. WTF?  I've been doing this for years and not getting any attention at all.

Now I'll be called part of the trend no doubt...

Still nodoby will listen to me...

I love these magazines/articles, you can usually be sure that 'What Women look for in a Man'™ changes about every three months, which makes you wonder how humanity got so diverse (and allows them to carry on 'What Women want' articles).
Best bet is just carry on being yourself, on average you're going to be in-fashion at least three times in your life anyway ;)

Personally I reckon that if you've ever questioned whether you're a metrosexual, ubersexual, new lad or any other of these terms you might as well put on a dress now and call yourself Mary.

Ok, wait, lemme get this right. Basically they're saying that acting gay (more or less; not to be confused with being gay) is out for Manly men? Wow, what a surprising conclusion.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Thank you.  Why this isn't obvious, I'll never know.

Anyone who actually runs their life according to the latest trends as prescribed by the fashion/PR industry deserves to be the sad, empty shell of a human being that they are. I'm just waiting to see how far they can take it. I easily forsee some sort of transplated animal apendage being in vogue within my lifetime.
