1) clearly the FS2 naming convention: CLASS_NUMBER|SPECIES-MAPTILE, instead of FS1's CLASS_2xNUMBER (i.e. bomber2t instead of bomber02)

2) 'new' ships in the FS2 timeline.

And please, people, please. Your lack of basic knowledge about even the most common FS2 ships disappoints me.

There's been whole SQUADS of people been known to fly that pile of crap Sekhmet bomber. Oh, how I loved their insults when all of their stupid tornadoes just flew by my ship...

Eh? Sekhmat is the best Vasudan bomber in the fleet. Just because the pilots sucked, and they used the most god aweful weapon (hornet/tornado) doesn't mean the ship sucked. I prefer it to any[/b] Terran bomber in the entire fleet.

Plus, it looks cool, if Turambar ever finishes the maps for it.

Actually, the "2" in "bomber2t" is for FS2.  What would be bomber0x under FS1 naming would be bomber2(t/v/s)-0x under FS2.

You guys haven't seen the Sekhmet!!   Whats wrong with you guys!

The Bakha is a heavy assault bomber while the Sekhmet is a true bomber more like the Boanerges only with better armament.  Its actually an HoL design if you read the tech room and it was designed and is partly based on some rudimentry Shivan technology.

My thoughts exactly, Ice. I love the Sekhmet - it really puts the Bakha to shame if you want to really take down a capital ship. I don't know what pilots you were flying against Light, but the Sekhmet has proven lethal in every engagement I've flown in.

The Bahka is a light attack bomber, the Vasudan equivalent to the Artemis or Athena light bombers.  That's not a heavy assault bomber.

Of course, against silly AI or total n00bs you might have some chance, but spamming with missiles won't help you against anyone who knows how to evade them.
