Inspiration for creators of planets with clouds, sun-effects, etc.
I found best screensaver ever. It shows Earth, Saturn, Moon or Mars planet (3d models). Camera is spinning around planets. Sun, glare effect, lens flare and the moment when sun is going behind planet is simply WONDERFUL! :) Clouds (Earth) or some gases, dust (Mars) is moving on the models and this is looks great too. Saturn planet gives shadow on saturn's rings - which is great! (like in Lt.Cannonfodder's saturn planet)

I would like to see that kind of planets and that kind of suns and sun-effects in FS2 :) It's really my dream ;). Is there any possibilities to implement it to FS2Open? I mean sun with those effects and 3d planet models that is rotateing during the mission?

Everyone, please check this tromendous show:

The second image just reminds me of one of the ending movies in Freespace 2. :p

No. FS2's ending movie didnt have so ugly glare effects and colour banding.

1: glare effect is to anyone's taste
2: color banding is because he saved that image in 16-bit color *slap*

Hmm... fine, so here you go one more screen (better quality of "the moment"):

BTW. My primary question is still without answer. Is there any possibilities to implement it to FS2Open (sun with those effects and 3d planet models that is rotateing during the mission)? :) :P
