O'Neills, in the old cheesemarket(?).  Apparently i just blacked out and smacked my head off a chair.  Can't remember anything after that, fortunately I was out with a bunch of mates form uni who were able to get me home ok.  Scary, tho.

I haven't really developed a palette for any sort of alcohol yet. I may try wine again at the end of the year. :)

Need to get some bearings on that one, not quite sure where u are exactly. Safe bet ur not too bad in the merchant city tho, so long as u avoid the surrounding features... like Bennets.

St. Vincent street, I believe.  I'm not too hot on Glasgow street names, thend to just bumble my way round based on memory.

I recall drinking double JDs neat on occasions when I'd fallen out wi me ex, now that was an interesting experience because I was never hungover :nervous:

Well, I like bloody mary's (vodka and tomatoe juice), Scotch, Cider, and some Old Dutch Jenever (though only if we ran out of scotch). Gin is terrible, straight vodka is hardly any better, liquers are too sweet, and don't get me started on alcopops. Calvados (Apple Whisky, I geuss.) is nice too.

As for Dutch regulations:
16 = Beer, Wine, Alcopops
18 = Whisky, Vodka,  etc, and I think mariuhana as well.

These are just the sale limits. If you get your parents to buy the stuff, no one is about to complain if you get drunk (your parents, perhaps).

Well, the good ones do have a bit of judgement. Bars and pubs seem to be a bit different, though. Supermarkets are easy enough to get booze from, it seems, but barkeeps do generally have a bit more brains.

Good stuff - a bit more expensive than beer ($15 a six pack:sigh: ) but worht it. Goes down brilliantly. It's the ideal mix of a sweet, premixed drink that wont bring your sexuality into question.

Triple Ace, at times a bit of alcohol is even healthy. It destroyes the bulking germs in your body. It might take some good cells with it but overall it's good for your body if you drink a shot/glass every now and then. :)

Ow, I'm talking Vodka, wine, Scotch-type alcohol though. Not the mixes. They're just not good for you :p
