It's not too bad around here yet (about 20 miles NW of DC), around 40 at the moment. And my computer heats up the room if I close the door, which works out nicely.

Hehe, I do that .   my room is always 6-10 degrees warmer than any other room in the house, even though it only has one vent, which makes for nice wintertime conditions.  If my desktop isn't doing the job I'll just hook up my laptop in the room too.

and i'm enjoying 50-60 degree weather. (and it's usually 90 degrees here, even in the winter )

Cold weather > warm weather.  I'm in Delaware at the moment, and we're finally starting to see some fall-like temperatures.  I absolutely love this time of year, and I can't wait for winter.  You can all have your lawn mowing, swarms of gnats, stifling humidity, and sunburns.  Bring on the snow!

And, as they always say, if it's too cold you can throw on another layer, but if you're naked and still sweating your nads off, you're SOL.

where I live, we don't have seasons. the weather does what it wants here. it's literally 90 degrees one day and 70 the next. 90 degrees in wintertime, 60 degrees in summertime. jesus christ.

Well, bear in mind that those pictures come from various parts of the city, and so aren't necessarily near one another.  Even the photos below were taken in San Francisco proper:








The key thing with temperature, if you ask me, is that CHILLY  (~50F/10C) is good but COLD (~40F/4C or less) is bad.  I moved away from Boston becuase I couldn't take  0F/-17C (or less) weather for weeks on end.
