SCP command lines options WIKI + -RLM
Sorry if i should have posted this in some other place.

Just wanted to note that the link in the Freespace WIKI, the one that points to the SCP command line options is not working.

Also I wanted to ask if -RLM *Realistic lightning works on the 3.6.7 Official release build of SCP (Wich is the one in the official builds section of the SCP web page)

Does it work with D3D? or should it work with OpenGL?

Thanks!

Re: SCP command lines options WIKI + -RLM
Like WMCoolmon said, it's on all the time now and the -rlm option has been removed.  It was supposed to be temporary anyway, just testing whether or not it had a negative performance impact, but it didn't get removed in time for 3.6.7 so 3.6.7 does have it as an option.  It is officially gone now though and it's affect is now permanent.  Also, it did work in OpenGL mode only.  D3D has something similar which was/is already in use.

On the wiki, or on the launcher pointing to the wiki? If it's the launcher, that'll be fixed when the relevant launcher file is updated (pending volunteers in the wiki forum), if ti's the wiki itself, point us to it and we can fix it (or better yet, it's a wiki - anyone can edit, so take a crack at fixing it yourself :))

Re: SCP command lines options WIKI + -RLM
The command-line options page on the new wiki was just written from scratch and is somewhat incomplete.  I'd forgotten about -rlm, all go add it now.  The link still won't work, unfortunately, as the old location is now gone.  If the updated cpp file I posted a) doesn't break anything and b) gets committed to CVS, the next build will have a working link for all valid options.

-rlm has been removed in more recent builds so point out that 3.6.7 is the last build that will have it.

Good.
I meant the Freespace WIKI.

When looking for the SCP installation guide there is one of the links on the "Features setup section" that points to the SCP command line flags.

Though if the old page that had the CMD flags needs updating,... Anyway!! I added the link in the WIKI so now there's a quick access to the command line list.

Cheers.

Done.  It's listed as an obsolete feature.
