 GTA Press - The 28th Black Stallion squad, Commodore Bosch's old squad, were ambushed by a large Shivan task force consisting of a Cain class cruiser this morning.  Although suffering heavy casulties, most of the 5 wings deployed returned safely thanks to the GTC-Vengance.  The Vengance is the 7th manufactured brand new liberty class cruisers.  Anti fighter cannon based on the beam wielding Demon encountered 3 years ago gives the new Liberty class a fighting edge over traditional cruisers of the past.

 "The new liberty class technically referred to as the Aeolis class cruiser, is designed as a light all purpose battleship.  The new ship is designed to handle fighter and bomber wings as well as other cruisers and destroyers.  In order to rebuild the GTA presence and discourage Regulas Syndicate advancments, the Alliance has issued that 24 of these new liberty class cruisers be buildt."

 Actually a Post WWI industrialist named Albert Kayser coined the word Liberty class.  Kayser created several (60+) Liberty freighters for WWII in a remarkable record of only months.  He also created Liberty air craft carriers (at least 12) and was previously responsable for supervision of 25% of Hoover Dam and depression era monuments.

But that is a good render! I dont want an official name like liberty, thats just what the aeoles is dubbed to keep up fleet moral!
