Ya know guys...when I changed to ICQ2000 beta whatever version likely to freak you the hell out and piss off the planet1.0012 I did this REALLY simple thing...COPY YOUR OLD ICQ FOLDER AS A BACK UP (ICQ-BACKUPDUUUH)  LOL

Never...not once...had this problem    LOL

And for those with me on their list...check my number...I've been hitting ICQ for a goood looong time now

Which one did you attempt to start up thou? Or did you rename the original folder ?

I made a pure copy of mine older version...then installed the new one over the original ...hit up the DB convertor...bang working fine.

I also made a exact copy of the whole stuff but i burnded it on a CD because i was going to reinstall my pc.So when i installed it again and the i copey all the old data back from the CD it didn't work because the files and dirs where all on read only setings then i just put them back on archive and it worked fine so a sleepy mistake from my side
