Re: Horus? Now with added Poll Goodness!
As for the interior, maybe look at the Psamptik main hall for inspiration. How's the Vasudan in the control tower thingie seated ?

That's just it, he's not....

ying down with outstretched arms controlling one joystick with each hand...

I was considerring something like that, in a laydown position..... dunno, though, as that only lets them look straight forward, unless their heads can bend all the way back... :s

Perhaps prone, instead of supine.  The Anubis must have a prone gunner in its hull, judging by its shape.
If a man consults whether he is to fight, when he has the power in his own hands, it is certain that his opinion is against fighting.

Re: Horus? Now with added Poll Goodness!
You know how Vasudan cockpits and suits look like from the pilot animations when they speak.

My suggestion? The Psamtik mainhall. The booth that Vasudan to your right side of the screen is.

Just copy that.

It's on the left, and he's standing at the panel. I was going to copy the panel, but how do they sit? Grr.

Re: Horus? Now with added Poll Goodness!
I think they sit like Humans.  I haven't looked in a while, but IIRC they sit in normal chairs in the briefing animation before the capture of the Taranis in FS1.  That's probably going to be your best source for imagery for Vasudan pilots anyway, as I think they are wearing their flight suits there as well.

If you watch that cutscene you'll notice that you never actually get a good view of the Vasudans sitting down.

Yeah, it's on the left (with this kind of disorientation problems you might wonder how the hell I'm able to fly anything at all here).

How do they sit? Inner workings of legs are nicely displayed in the Silent Threat Headz video etc. when they walk around. Might want to... imagine something from there. Because of their weird legs, maybe they squat in a sitting position ro something.

Re: Horus? Now with added Poll Goodness!
When cosidering the size of your average Vasudan, and the flatness of their fighter craft... I don't think they really sit in their cocpits. Im thinking something like a tilted "bench" where they lay on their stomach (a little something like the fighter thing in Halo). If the front of the bench is little higher, the pilot doesn't have to twist their neck as much. This theory is supported by the fact that in most Vasudan fighters the cockpit window extends all the way to the bottom. If a Vasudan somehow fits in in sitting position, why would there be need for his feed to see the action?

Re: Horus? Now with added Poll Goodness!
Again, that's not the case considering we already have the in-flight pilot videos where they are obviously in an upward position from the chest up.

How about looking at the settings guy in the vasudan main hall, it does look like they are in a standing, or possibly squatting, position.

Seems to be a ton of space in there? Do you think its a two seater?  Many vasudan craft seem that way....

2.3 max units, since they scale 1:1 to a Freespace (POF) meter.
