I'm currently doing a list of 3rd party material to TBP (here -> http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,37452.0.html) in order to make things easy to find...
could anyone be that kind to tell me if new 3rd party TBP files appear at StarGame? I would add them to my list then...

Hi, i will download the list you have got made already and add them to File Domains download list.
I have some still to upload so I might have some new mods/missions for you soon.

HLP will be using FileDomain as a download mirror soon, we have access to create additional categories. Initially all new downloads would have to go through HLP admins, but hopefully at later time we can give each category their own limited access to manage files in their own sub-category only.

SilverStripes Project

Update
Today (31.12.05) the SilverStripes project was re-opened by the board of directors, and hosting has been setup on our servers and we are awaiting for our domain name to transfer (http://www.silverstripes.net/) from our old hosting company (Heart Internet).

What is the SilverStripes project?
SilverStripes is a hosting of files like FileDomain but with an extra, SilverStripes will host websites (Example: www.silverstripes.net/hosted/yourdomain) instantly and have access to the site by a secure login. You can edit the site by a WYSIWYG script built into your account or you can upload the files by your browser (PHP Time limits apply). FTP access is given on request, after you have requested a FTP access you can upload any amount you wish even in the GB's. We are funded for 3 months and will soon have 2 more months funding. (Only donations over £1).

RavenTS once asked if we could make 3rd-party-campaigns more offical by getting them websites and stuff....
This could be our chance to get webspace for reasonable fees

now the question where to get helpers for the project's pages from is still open

Well silverstripes will be able to handly it all from as little as £2 (GBP) a year. The board of directors at StarGame have been talking about hosting projects for some time and want to make sure we can offer the best for low prices.

I have some updates for people that download The Babylon Project files, I have brought a new server & domain name (http://www.filedomain.co.uk/) which will be the main site for all large scale files. I have already transfered over 10GB of files to the new server and more coming, I have used the servers SSH system to transfer files from websites to over faster downloads for you guys. I hope to get the new site design ready and the new download system which will allow every one to upload 2mb files via the browsers.

I will post here again when the site is online.
