Okay. I just bought Red Faction and been playing it for two days. I get to the stage where I have to fight Kopek (sp?). How the hell do I kill him?! He got this shielding around him and Eos is like bantha fodder.

Just keep shooting him and stay away from Eos.  He will eventually lose his shields and then shoot him a couple times and he'll die.

Anyway, after trying a few times, I found the perfect way to kill him.

I just sgtood behind a large pillar at the end of the room facing Capek and then used my Sniper Rifle. 5 shots and he was out of the game. And Eos survived.
