OGLE 3d data capture program for meshes in games
Open source program (DLL) for viewing an app in progress (IE: WOW, HL1, Quake4) for capturing 3d game data in a format to be used in other apps. Sort of like a converter (but mainaly for meshes that don't have converter plugins natuarally or friendly...

Ok coders, get in there and help this guy fix the bugs/make more app formats useable ;)

Time to boot up some games I haven't played in years...

Re: OGLE 3d data capture program for meshes in games
I have no idea. I DL'ed the files as instructed anf altered the config's, then put the copied .dll into the fs2 directory as a test..

I changed icon (ie texture) size from 40 to 256. Any image on screen (I tried tech room first) showed up as iamge in folder, so texture capturing on screen WORKs, but you get EVERYTHING so you have to go through a lot of stuff you dont want (delete).

The meshes were supposed to show up in C:temp or FS2 directory as an .obj file but it never happened no matter what I did.

Will have to wait and see what coders say, this was just a test but I was hoping to use this to extract meshes from older games that have no real model file we can use. (eitehr propietary or obsolete/unreleased formats).

Like Dune Emperor dropships or those artillery mechs lol.
