This comes from the now-deleted topic about Track IR. Is it possible to implement mouse panning in the views? Or is adding the extra axis too much?

that would be cool
as would padlock mode
and get rid of that red dot, it really doesnt do anything usefull, they dont give you enough rotation to loose the sence of forward.
