Yet again, I request a BFRed to the face. x.x;
...

or a Helios on PC Gamer UK.

><; read the december edition? Again, the buggers are talking about FS3!After the line-up of games to come in 2006, they have one line mentioning FS3.

I think that that poster that somebody made here on HLP did the trick of tricking game journalists into believing into it too...

...unless somebody came up with the idea of getting cash/a sponsor to get the IP and give it over to Volition...
>>; I managed to get minuses on kills...that be bad, right?

I think this got mentioned a few months back on here.

Evidentally once a rumour gets started in the computer world it's hard to stop it.
Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

Derek Smart was actually working for me when he started talking about FS3. He very nearly gave away the whole plan.

Pass it on.

Is the legend of Derek Smart in the FS Wiki yet? I want to read the backstory of what happened.

Karajorma, that was me. e.e;

And that was a rumour of FS3 on the Xbox 360. Before that we got Derek Smart.

...

but this is new stuff from PCGamer UK. Did Goober5000's poster have such a big effect?

I'll look up the mag again and type the text in which I have found it.
