Manitou

Manitou, The Great Spirit, is an Algonquin term, often erroneously applied as spirit monster. Manitou combines the meanings of Spirit, mystery, magic, and generally is applied to the manifestation of some form of power that is not readily understood or coming from elsewhere.

Another new ship. It's a sized craft - 500-600 meters at most but reasonably well-armed. She's primarily meant as a cheap border patrol cruiser that packs an effective enough offensive punch against most targets near her class/size level. Admittedly, the textures downright suck, but I dont have anything better atm, so quit complaining :p

Looks cool, but I don't think those turrets have enough guns on them :p

Actually, come to think of it, for any reasonable ballistic performance the barrels would have to fire in sequence; if you fired them all at you'd get interference and the shells would deflect unpredictably. As the guns are almost certainly not individually sleeved (and hence capable of individually recoiling), your practical rate of fire when attempting to be accurate is going to suffer. Badly.

The texturing is great, the layout of the engines are nice, but the top profile looks so phallic that it ruins it for me. Sorry.

No it doesn't. You must have penis on the brain. Ship looks great Singh, but the turrets are a bit much and the engine nozzles look out of place. Maybe bigger, or more of them within the given space ?

Yes it does. But what do I know? I didn't see it until my wife looked over my shoulder and pointed out the similarity.

However a little sensor boom jutting off of one side of the front end or something else to give a hint of asymmetry would break up the similarity. In my opinion.
