Hecate Mk 2

Some time back one of the modellers whipped up a "modernised update" of the hecate destroyer.  Given how long ago this was posted (and the fact that I can't seem to get the search function working :( ), does anyone know who created this item or where I might be able to find it?

It was a more fluid "stealth" looking design, though still similar enough to recognised as part of the hecate family.

The only Hecates i know of are, the one i made for inferno the GTD Icelus(sp, and my very first model). The other one was made for a campaign called Dark..... can't remember the full name of it but i'm not sure if it was ever released, or do you mean the HTL version of the Hecate?

As I said it was some time ago.  I should probably dig out said mod campaign and take a look if its the one I remember.

I think you're talking about Raptors high poly Hecate. Am I right? You're just looking for a better looking hecate and not a completely new model??

I dunno if that was ever released, you'd have to ask Raptor.

The HTL Hecate is in the MediaVPs...try Hades Combine. Trashman made some variants that are up there.

Stealthy looking? Well, if by stealthy you mean having some buish glowing parts, then that could be mine..
It has blue engine intakes and some bluew part next to the front beam cannons...

And I actually started to add slighly more detail to it (particulary the front wings and hte two rear towers).
But that wil lhave to wait till I finish the Demon..It's not easy to maek that griders sorata look...

to my mind there shouldn't be a "mk2" terran destroyer, as the hecate is the successor to the orion, so the successor to the hecate could be a "GTD Themis class" (look it up, greek titan of justice and order, mother to the fates, etc.) or something along those lines.

I think that's the first one I thought of when he was describing it. Has a sort of gently curved neck doesn't it? Was it originally posted as fancy renders on white BGs?

I never made a Hecate MK2.  Some people called my GTD Hera a Hades[/i] Mk2 though... maybe that's were you're getting confused.

And yes, that Hecate 2 is just... nasty.

It was funky though. In a good way. Seemed to have a lot of new green colouring in it.
