It was funky though. In a good way. Seemed to have a lot of new green colouring in it.

It's okay.  And likely yes, you meant Raven's Hecate.

I've never really been a fan of the Hecate myself.  Too flimsy looking, all those bits hanging out.  It dosn'st have that 'solid-block-of-armour' feeling that the Orion has.

Then again people could say the same thing about my Hera...

And as for flimsy... well, I definately say its a big step closer to the engine-fitted-rectangle design ethos of the orion when compared to the hecate. Again in a good way.

Plus it has that main gun that promises so much lovin.

Well, I tend to think your designs are too blocky for my liking. They give me a certain vibe. But I can't really explain it. Not my style. This one is good though. Nothing drastically changed...

Plan to, but it's going slowly.  Texturing is in progess.  Lots of lights/windows added and some details.  It's the main hull plating that hold things up.  Plus I doubt I'm doing things the best way... (ship hull uses 2 2560x2560 maps, reduced to 2048x2048 for in game, plus 1 nameplate.)

That was the idea .  It was intended to be a 'throwback' design.

Main gun?   It had (small) moon cracking missiles (once I figure out where to put the launch tubes again...) but no super massive gun... just a heck of a lot of smaller ones (we're currently looking at 60+)

Hmmm, I seem to remember a big main gun on the nose. But then maybe it was just a very close up shot of a normal cannon. Plus its also been a while.

Oh man, I totally forgot to tell you over messenger when you showed me that pic. I did not like the barrels. I think they could be much more detailed... Since it's a HTL model, shouldn't the guns be also? I'm not talking about the bases (they can get by) just the barrels. Other than that ROCK ON!!!
