hi everyone. i'm no newbie, that means i tried everything i could think of to make it work. the problem is: when i load up the game, it does not show any cutscenes(in the beginning) and when i log on with my username and try t start a game it say's that "please insert cd 2". well, i inserted it, in various ways. then i thaught that maybe the name was wrong(the previous cd was named "NEW"), so i looked the name up and burned a new disc with the name disc 2. now it rattled for a while(oh yes, i also did a reinstall) in the cd rom and didin't show intro. and in the game it said "please insert cd 2". please help me!

I presume you're trying to install using three ISOs that you downloaded from somewhere.

If so go to my FAQs download page and install the FS2.exe file from my HotU crack pack. It will allow you to run FS2 without the CDs (If you haven't patched the game to v1.2 copy everything in the pack across). If you copy the .mve files from your CD to the folder you installed FS2 to on your hard drive you'll be able to see them too.



That said you may want to go to the Source Code Project forum and look into FS2_Open as that is another solution to your immediate problem with a whole load of advantages.
