Keep in mind, innovation isn't always a good thing.
Of course it is. Even if it fails, it means an opportunity has been identified and assessed, and we can learn what works and what doesn't. From a gamers perspective, innovation is not just a good thing, but an essential thing - otherwise we'd be playing the same games over and over with slightly fancier graphics and better spec-mapping (er, waitamo........)
It's only from a corporate perspective that it's scary, because new and interesting equals risk - it's obviously far easier to drag out Halo 6 or GTA 12:Milton Keynes than to try and do something new.
