Well it's very blocky at the moment but once you smooth it out a bit it should be pretty cool

I think it's a cool concept and a good start. I'm apparently partial to the longer fuselage (sp?) too. I hope to see more work on this!

I am going to add more details and some armor plating. What do you think of the overall shape? Any suggestions?

It really needs to be smoothed out mate. Try and get it so you can't recognise a box in there except  for areas you want to be that particular shape.

shrink the cockpit waaaaay down, cut off all the corners (works for BSG), make the rear weapon pods bigger, and make the fuselage more of a connection between the front and the back than a body
