Is it possible to get an OpenGL driver for my motherboard's (Intel D815EEA) onboard graphics system (Intel 82815)?
I tried Googling it, honestly, but it was useless. If it is possible could someone point me in the correct direction?

Well, according to this, your Intel 815 Chipset should already support OpenGL. If you're still having problems, try getting the most recent drivers.

If that still doesn't work, get a graphics card. I've got a GeForce 5700LE that runs Freespace Open perfectly, and it was only $120 (Try looking here for some better deals... I've not used it myself, but everything looks cheap enough there).
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

dude just get a 9200SE, or an MX4000 at the least...  Anything is better than the Onboard 815 Graphics...
Well what do I do now?  Well Jack, you seem to have an act for blowing things up....

Hopefully I will get a real graphics card in about mid-april. I'm too cheap to spring for one myself right now.

EDIT: and it appears that my current drivers are more recent than the ones on  the microsoft website.

If you use Microsoft drivers, I'll be suprised if your graphics card does anything other than perform basic windows tasks.  Always get them from the manufacturer of your video card/system.  I avoid MS's like the plague, when it comes to video, sound, and anything related to the chipset.

Thats hardly surprising...Microsoft drivers are just to get your card to work in anything outside of 16bit color and 640x480 mode graphics.  Thats all.  Anything else is where you want to get real drivers.

BTW; the intel graphics crappies don't support HTL. My "extreme graphics 2" *snicker* is a load of crap. Too bad it's an integrated laptop bit
